My schedule has been getting so hectic over the past year that Michelle & I have started to 'book' time with each other. Today was one of those days. Since I spent most of the day with her yesterday (unexpectedly), I ran a handful of errands today.
I made a couple of mixes for Gareth Asher's record. It will be a while before we resume recording. I'll be working on Reed Turner's new album over the next 3 weeks. I made mixes so he (& I) could step away & simmer over what needs to be done next.
I cleaned the studio as well. Things are coming together nicely in The Small Room. I'm very happy with my workspace... very turnkey.
I had lunch with Dwight Maddox. He's the guitar tech for Cowboy Mouth & owner/artist of MDX Guitars. He's going to build a guitar for me in his time off during the holidays. I'm pretty psyched about it. It's going to be very unique. I'm sure I'll be talking about it in the coming weeks.
Michelle & I spent the evening together. We started off by taking a quick trip to Atlantic Station. Michelle was looking for something to wear at the formal dinner that we'll be attending this weekend in Tampa for Charlie Daniels' charity.
